ABOUT ME

Whether it’s a front cover shoot or a commercial campaign, my aim has always been the same – to translate my passion for clothes into beautiful looks and pictures.

It was a love I discovered at a young age. I must have been just four when I started driving my poor Mum mad by changing my outfit about 10 times a day. Thankfully my efforts are now focused on others.

For the last 25 years that approach has been devoted to styling models and celebrities for magazine shoots or overseeing commercial shoots for High Street and luxury brands.

After completing my degree at Camberwell Arts College I got my first break in fashion with the Evening Standard in the late 1990s. From there I moved on to InStyle UK where I quickly became the Senior Fashion Editor. It was my job to style for the magazine’s front covers and main fashion stories and while we might all think movie stars or catwalk models glide effortlessly from the set to page one, the truth is they suffer from the same insecurities and challenges as everyone else. This experience taught me that regardless of who you are you have to pick the right clothes to suit a person’s shape, style and personality.

Since leaving InStyle in the late 2000s, I have been working as a freelance fashion consultant, combining my latest media role as Fashion Director of Country and Town House Magazine with commercial shoots for well known High Street brands such as M&S and Next and luxury designers like Anya Hindmarch and Victoria Beckham.

My personal shopping packages will help find the right outfit for you. I can also help you make the most of what you already have by carrying out a thorough wardrobe edit to unearth the hidden gems at the bottom of your closet. So whatever your needs I will use my knowledge and experience to help private clients get the front cover look.
